The current cash report contains an account for “FOOD BANK.” In reviewing several issues with our accounting procedures, the Board decided to rename the account “FOOD BANK” to “COMMUNITY OUTREACH.” This will allow better accountability and functionality in our financial reports. The money collected in the special envelope during our regular offering on Communion Sundays will be placed into this account as well as any donations given directly to the Food Bank. Our first Community Outreach collection received $122.00. The Board thanks everyone for your generosity.
Church Improvements :
Over the past few months much needed major renovations to the rest rooms have been completed under the planning and guidance of Frank Chisesi with the assistance of several members. Costs to your Church were minimal as generous members footed the expense of most of the materials. The bulk of the labor was done by the Frank for which we owe a big Thank You!
Fellowship Hall floor truly glistens as the result of a professional cleaning and buffing, again funded through the generosity of a member. We must make every effort to maintain the floor now that it has a fresh appearance.
Much needed re glazing and painting of the windows at the rear and south side (except the Sanctuary) has been done as well as the bell tower. The parsonage pedimsent and other areas have been refinished. Expenditures to date on this project is $8,727.00 These costs have depleted our Building fund. Contributions toward replenishing the Building fund would be deeply appreciated.
