We had a wonderful attendance on Sunday School Sunday! It is always great to see the children involved in worship. Thank you to all the teachers who so willingly dedicate their time and energy to feeding the souls of our next generation of Moravian Christians. The skits were super!
Our Summer Schedule has begun. In order for our popular 9:00 AM Fellowship Time which precedes worship each Sunday morning until September 14 to be successful, we need volunteers to sign up to host. Keep the snack simple with doughnuts, or fruit, or some other simple breakfast food, and a drink, such as coffee. Worship follows at 9:30.
Remember to send any changes to your Church Directory listing to the office, or place a note on the Secretary’s desk or give it to the pastor. You may also email the office.
Encourage your young people to attend a week of church camp. Scholarships are available for all Moravian young people. Just talk to the pastor.
July has been busy for Easton First. Pastor and his family enjoyed a time of vacation from June 12-14. Eastern District Synod was held from June 18 to June 21, and we have a new District President (The Rev. David Bennett). Thank you to the delegates for representing FMC. Vacation Bible School was held June 23-27, 6:00-8:30 PM. We are thankful to all who participated! This is the season for moves. Be on the lookout for people moving into your area. Take a brochure about the church, take Moravian Sugar Cake (recipes are in the Church Cookbook!) or Sugar Cookies, and invite them to Sunday worship, and if they have children tell them about Sunday School in the fall!
