| Thank you, Loretta Kostyk, for the Bulletin Board in the Narthex! Your beautiful mural draws us emotionally into the season, and prepares us spiritually for the beauty of the Christmas Sanctuary. We look forward to many more of your beautiful pieces as the entrance to our Sanctuary is beautified by your shared talent. You are truly gifted. Thanks for sharing your gifts with us. |
IS IT “MUSICAL” OR “MUSICALE”? We shared in a beautiful gift from the choirs on December 9. The church was filled with people — 121 to be exact.
What is the difference between a musical and a musicale? A musical is a play which includes music. A musicale is a program that includes musical pieces, but no play. There may be speaking portions to a program called a musicale, but no skit or play.
So — thank you to the Choir, Instrumentalists, and Directors for the beautiful gift of our annual MUSICALE! Thank you, Frank Chisesi, for printing the extra bulletins — We had such a large crowd we ran out! |
Thanks from ProJeCt
To: John Dentith and Rev. Castello
On behalf of ProJeCt of Easton, Inc.’s Board of Directors, staff and all the people who benefit from our programs, thank you for your donation of a turkey to the Interfaith Food Pantry.
It is only through the generous support of our community that we are able to offer the services we provide to the public through the Interfaith Food Pantry and the ASSIST program at no cost. Together, these programs give people the assistance they need to get through times of crisis, and also the opportunity, through comprehensive case management and referral services, to work towards becoming self-sufficient. Your support makes a difference to those in need.
We are honored and grateful that you have chosen to contribute to the Interfaith Food Pantry, especially in these difficult economic times. Thank you for helping us “to help people help themselves.”
Sincerely, Janice D. Komisor, Executive Director |

Turning Point Giving Tree
The Church and Society Committee would like to thank everyone who participated in the Giving Tree Project from Turning Point. This annual event at First Moravian proves we are a congregation that cares. We were given a total of 50 Dove Tags this year and we delivered over 75 gifts along with a monetary donation of $100 to Turning Point on December 10th. Thanks to your generosity you made Christmas possible for the residents and children of Turning Point again this year.
God Bless You All, Dawn |
Thank you to John Dentith for the donations of two turkeys, and Judith Pritchard for your loving care in seeing that the turkeys arrived at the appropriate families. It’s love such as this that makes First Moravian Church a beacon in the community of Easton. |

[excerpt] Thank you for the check in the amount of $975 [Harvest Home Offering] that you sent to our office. As requested, this money has been designated for the hurricane-damaged areas of Jamaica, Nicaragua, Honduras and Costa Rica. This money has been placed in our Disaster Response Fund — MDR. Moravian Disaster Response is the Board of World Mission’s organizational entity that responds in a crisis by organizing resources, both human and financial. Gifts such as yours are used to respond in a timely and effective manner by purchasing supplies or food, sending block grants, or moving people to the site of the disaster. On behalf of those who will directly benefit from your donation, thank you very much. |

Thank you those who stepped up to the need of a TV for Brother Bob Woodring. We thank Judith Pritchard for the purchase of a new one. Brother Woodring is enjoying his new gift. It makes a wonderful difference in his life, both because of the gift but also because of the love demonstrated by those who offered their own gifts. Thanks to all of you. |
